Belvue Ranch is a small acreage homestead to rare & heritage livestock located in the Southern Highlands of NSW. The property runs adjoining Long Swamp Creek which feeds the Paddy’s & Wollondilly River Systems. An overlay of a few undulating hills at approximately 800m (2,500ft) above sea level with a high density rain fall of on average 700-900ml per annum puts them in the cold climate farming category which is perfect for the Belted Galloway cattle whom originate from the lake & hills district of Scotland. Belted Galloway are a beef cattle breed but some studs have been known to utilise the cows for their good milking abilities.
